Stanny Van Paesschen Equestrian Center has send out a press release, announcing that the Belgian Federation has been served with a fine of 5000 Euro. The fine comes as a result of the Belgian Federation's decision to not include Constant van Paesschen and Citizenguard Toscan de Sainte Hermelle on the team for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, putting Thursday's conclusion from the Belgian Arbitration Court for Sport's aside. The legal procedures continued in a first instance court in Brussels yesterday, and ended with the court ordering the Belgian Federation to follow the decision from the CBAS or pay of a fine of € 5,000.

This decision reached the parties in the case last night, and had a time limit of two hours. In the press release it is stated from the Van Paesschen's side that they have had no news since, and that as far as they are concerned "the federation would rather spend its budget to pay penalties and damages than reverse decisions unjustified and unjustifiable."

The dead line for definitive entries for the Games was on Thursday 21.8.2014.
