Egypt's Karim El Zoghby made it yet another Grand Prix win with Amelia (Cantos) yesterday, winning the four star 1.60 Grand Prix de la Ville de Dinard. El Zoghby has showed great form lately, and also won the Grand Prix in Franconville in June. With one of only two double clear rounds, El Zoghby's jump-off was the fastest at 49 seconds. Over four seconds behind came home rider Nicolas Delmotte on Number One D'Iso Un Prince (Baloubet du Rouet x Si Tu Viens). Third place went to another home rider; Roger Yves Bost on Nippon d'Elle (Scherif d'Elle x Narcos), who had the fastest jump-off time but on the expense of a rail down.
Switzerland's Frederique Fabre Delbos went to the top in the three star Grand Prix de Megève Edmond de Rothschild. Riding Nirvana Basters (Rosire x Iris Landai), Fabre Delbos produced one of the two double clear rounds of the 1.50 class – stopping the clock in the jump-off on 40.04 seconds. Then followed Italy's Lorenzo de Luca who rode Zoe II (Kannan x Goes Without Saying) to second place in a time of 40.87 seconds. Abdullah Sharbatly ended third with a pole down, but with the fastest jump-off time of the class – aboard Callahan (Contendro x For Pleasure).
