This is the face of focus, but there were also plenty of happy faces to be seen after some wonderful performances in Sunday's Grand Prix in St. Gallen that was won by home rider Paul Estermann and Castlefield Eclipse after two fantastic clear rounds. Fabio Crotta had good reason to be pleased with Rubina VIII after two clear rounds and a third place in the Grand Prix, securing two Swiss riders in the top three.
Cabrio van de Heffinck jumped incredible with Olivier Philippaerts and finished fourth.
France's David Frederic rode two clear rounds on Equador van't Roosakker to finish 6th in the Grand Prix.
Paola Amilibia was very happy with Prunella D'Ariel's first clear round in the Grand Prix - and was one of three Spanish riders in the second round.
Italy's Massimiliano Ferrario and Loro Piana Acamar were double clear to finish fifth.
Lauren Hough was also clear in the first round of the Grand Prix on her 15 year old veteran Quick Study. The pair had the fastest time in the second round, but one pole fell on the second oxer.
Kevin Staut also made it to the second round after being clear in the first riding Astoy Aqui de Muze HDC. The pair finished 10th after a pole down in the second round.
The Spanish riders really delivered this weekend; here is Gonzalo Anon Suarez - clear in the first round of the Grand Prix on Qlamp D'Ivraie.
Ludo Philippaerts ended 8th on Challenge V. Begijnakker.
Pius Schwizer and Toulago were one of four Swiss pairs clear in the first round, making it to the second.
