The Dutch team for the European Championships

Wednesday, 17 July 2013

Jeroen and Utascha SFN are on the team for the Europeans. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. The Dutch team for the European Championships in Herning has been announced. Chef d’Equipe Rob Ehrens has chosen the following combinations for his team; Jeroen Dubbeldam on Utascha SFN, Leon Thijssen on Tyson, Maikel van der Vleuten on VDL Groep Verdi TN, Jur Vrieling on Bubalu VDL as well as Willem Greve on Carambole as reserve.

On their website the KNHS states that Marc Houtzager will not go to the championships as Sterrehof’s Tamino currently is not fit enough to fight for a title, hence the reason the pair is not on the team. It’s also stated that the KNHS regrets that owner of London – Ger Visser jr. – has not made the stallion available for the European Championships, which is also why Gerco Schröder is missing on the team.
