The FEI Nations Cup standings after the second leg

Friday, 25 May 2012

Jos and Valentina did a great job helping Belgium keep on to their overall lead in the series. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.After today’s class in Rome Belgium is still in the lead with 16 points while Germany is right behind them on 15 points. Holland had a disappointing day in Rome, but with their second place from the first round they are number three with 10.5 points.  Switzerland follows on fourth at 10 points after their impressive second place today, and Sweden is number five with 8 points.

Bottom three are Great Britain at 6.5, France at 6 and Ireland at 4 points. All three teams have struggled in both legs so far. But with six more to go we know that everything can happen.

Standings after leg two in Rome;

1. Belgium 16

2. Germany 15

3. Holland 10.5

4. Switzerland 10

5. Sweden 8

6. Great Britain 6.5
