The Grand Prix FEI World Cup™ in Olomouc won by Federico Ciriesi

The winning pair; Federico Ciriesi and Calida 46. Photo by Tomas Holcbecher.On Sunday afternoon, Olomouc arena bleachers filled to bursting and the atmosphere was thrilling. At the start of the Grand Prix Diamond Tour FEI World Cup there were 41 riders, 10 from the Czech Republic. The course of the Grand Prix was approved by FEI as qualification for WEG 2014 and CH-E 2015 in Aachen. The grant was 40,000 EUR. The winner of the Grand Prix was 23 year old Italian rider Federico Ciriesi with the mare Calida 46, who produced a clear round in the time of 46,74. The second place went to Jan Sprehe with Burberry 9 and the third place went to Maximilan Schmid with Quabs - both from Germany.
