Sunday's two star Grand Prix in Magna Racino went to Switzerland's Beat Mändli and Super Trooper de Ness (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Polydor). As the second of the five participants in the jump-off, Mändli showed no shyness and galloped the 12 year old stallion previously seen under McLain Ward confidently around the shortened track taking the win in 43.28 seconds. "This is my first Grand Prix victory in Magna Racino, and therefore something very special! Maybe even one or the other will follow in the next few weeks! I stay here until the big 4* finals on June 8th," said Mändli who won a beautiful watch in from the Pierre Petit Collection by Jacques Lemans as well as 7920 Euro.
1.65 seconds separated Mändli from the winner of last year's final Grand Prix at the event, the British rider Keith Shore, on Mystic Hurricane (Tornado x Magic Motion). Sweden's Mariano Maggi was third on Easy Contact Humlan (Quite Easy x Electro).
