The Grand Prix in Stockholm to Gerco Schröder and Callahan

Sunday, 01 December 2013

Gerco Schröder and Callahan on their way to a win in the Grand Prix in Stockholm. Photographer: Peter Zachrisson - www.rgbpictures.se.After ending last in yesterday’s Top 10 Final Gerco Schröder bounced back on Sunday winning the five star Grand Prix in Stockholm riding Callahan (Contendro x For Pleasure). The Dutch rider had the only double clear in the class to take home the win to the Netherlands, but the best time belonged to the super-quick couple Angelica Augustsson and Mic Mac du Tillard (Cruising x Galoubet A) – but on the expense of one pole down. Angelica was no less than almost four seconds faster than Gerco in the jump-off. It was the last time the Swedish crowds could enjoy this fantastic couple together on home soil, as David Will will take over the ride when Angelica makes her job switch to Ashford Farm at the end of the year. Third was Kevin Staut on Quismy des Vaux HDC (Dollar de la Pierre X Super de Bourriere) – also this pair clear in the first round, but with one down in the jump-off.
