The Longines Beijing Masters has kicked off

Friday, 11 May 2012

Greetings from Beijing; Rolf, Malin and Angelica. Thanks for the photo guys! The CSI2* show Longines Beijing Masters has kicked off. All the international riders present compete on borrowed horses, and with various luck. Today Rolf-Göran Bengtsson had two down on Centana, while Angelica Augustsson had three down on Clinton’s Girl. Malin Baryard-Johnson only had one time penalty on Camirage though. But nonetheless, as you can see from the photo they have sent us, the Swedes were happy as their team mates in La Baule did such a good job today. The 1.40 class in Beijing went to one of the home riders, while Ludger Beerbaum and Christian Ahlmann were second and third respectively. Tomorrow it's time for the 1.45 Grand Prix, which can be viewed live at Eurosport.
