Photo (c) CSIO Barcelona. It was another American win in Barcelona yesterday as Kent Farrington won the Longines Cup of the City of Barcelona. With an unusual twelve faults-performance in Thursday's Nations Cup, Farrington kicked back hard yesterday – this time around riding Uceko (Celano x Koriander). The US rider had one of five double clears in the 1.55 class, but was the fastest one of all in the second round with 46.52 seconds.

Closest to Farrington came William Whitaker, who on Upperclass (Concorde x Indoctro) produced two clear rounds – the second one in a time of 48.34. Third went to Marie Hecart on Myself de Breve (Quidam de Revel x Grand Veneur), who was almost four seconds behind the winner in round two.
