Hello everyone!

I can't believe how fast this season went and now we are here in Caen for my first World Equestrian Games! The venue here is fantastic and the atmosphere is amazing. I watched the final of the eventing yesterday and the atmosphere gives you goose bumps. The warm-up and the stables are super. All the horses on our team passed the vet-check yesterday and are ready to perform.

Our team did not have any pre-camp ahead of the Games, but I think this year we have the best team we have ever had as a country! Before when we did team events it was always one of us with a good horse for this level and the others just trying to manage with what ever they had! This year all horses on the team (Vingino, Lordan, Sumas Zorro and Amelia) have produced good results on 4 or 5 star level. Of course I also believe a lot in my fellow team mates as all of them are very good professional riders. Also our reserve Mohamad has worked very hard and developed his riding throughout the summer and is on top form.

The development of the sport in Egypt is really good at the moment. The fact that we this year had 6 potential candidates for our team in Normandy is amazing and something that has never happened before. I hope with a bit of luck, good riding and good team spirit we will have a good result!

I am very excited about this opportunity and I feel very lucky that I got the ride on Vingino earlier this year. He is a super horse, and it feels good to be here riding a horse with all the necessary qualities to produce some good rounds. A big thanks to Vingino's owner and all my sponsors and supporters as well as my team.

So please wish us luck and let's hope for a good championship in all ways!

Best wishes
