The Nations Cup in Rotterdam in images - part two

Thursday, 26 June 2014
This lady is leading the way for France in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup series; Penelope Leprevost has showed incredible form, and this time around she was clear in the second round after one down in the first with Flora de Mariposa. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.
Watch this space: Jeroen Dubbeldam always brings another star on to the circuit - now it's all about the ten year old Zenith SFN that was clear in the first round and had one down in the second.
Maikel van der Vleuten and VDL Groep Verdi TN N.O.P. also show consistent form for the Dutch team. They were clear in the first round and had one down in round two to help Holland finish second in the end.
Team US was also present to compete in Rotterdam, testing out their shortlist for the World Equestrian Games. Here Lucy Davis on Barron.
Pius Schwizer and Toulago were clear for Swizerland in the first round, and had one down in the second.

While afterwards Schwizer was busy watching his team mates.

Jessica Springsteen and Vindicat W didn't have their best day, and finished on eight and twelve penalties this time around.

Jane Richard Philips' Pablo de Virton needed a little help when it was time to get into the ring...

Guy Williams and Zaire did not have the best day at work, but nevertheless Great Britain finished fourth.

Dermott Lennon gives Loughview Lou-Lou a little pat on the neck during their round.

Taking a look at the jump-off, were the Dutch met the French.

But France was the best, and could celebrate yet another win in the Nations Cup series this year!

Penelope and Bosty giving their partners some TLC, and Bosty even took the opportunity to give Myrtille Paulois a little kiss.

The equine version of Marilyn Monroe's skirt! Flora de Mariposa's blanket was thrown up by the wind, but she did not really seem to mind.

 A happy Laurence with Reveur.
