The Olympia Grand Prix to Ben Maher

Riding Diva ll (Kannan x Berlioz), the British rider was the best in the five-horse jump-off in this 1.60 class. Dutch rider Maikel Van der Vleuten, who has had a good show with five places and two wins, finished second on VDL Groep Arera C (Indoctro x Voltaire) while third was France's leading rider Kevin Staut on Ayade de Septon HDC (Wandor van de Mispelaere x Belle d'Avril du Mazy). These three were the only riders who were able to produce double clear rounds in the class that closed off the Christmas show in London.

"There's quite a lot to lose in a jump-off that only has five riders so you have to take a few risks," said Ben after his win. "Diva is quite a tricky horse and she showed off a bit in the prize-giving, but she's a super jumper who has more to come and she really wants to win."
