The Rolex FEI World Cup Final in Images - Sunday's Round One

Tuesday, 30 April 2013

A very happy Karl Cook leaving the ring after a super first round on Jonkheer Z. Karl did great on the last day, and ended 11th overall. Photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

Beezie Madden went back into the lead after Sunday's first round, after having one down on Simon.Henrik von Eckermann rode so, so well on Gotha FRH - but unfortunately a rail fell. Henrik ended 8th overall in his first World Cup Final.Charlie Jayne and Chill R Z in action for America.Sky high behind; All Star 5 is one for the future for Denis Lynch!Unfortunately luck was not on Marcus Ehning's side on Sunday and he withdrew Copin van de Broy.Katie Dinan showed off some great riding on Sunday aboard the springy Nougat du Vallet.Kevin rode brilliantly the entire weekend to finish third on Silvana HDC, and was just so unlucky to have a pole down in both the first and second round on Sunday. We would have loved see Marc Houtzager on the podium, but being unlucky on Sunday he ended overall 7th.Loved this horse; Super Trooper de Ness with Mc Lain Ward in the saddle ended 5th overall.Quintero is a little bit unconventional, but Rolf brings out the best in him! The pair finished 6th overall. What a rider, what a horse!! Steve and Nino never stop to impress!
