The Rolex FEI World Cup in Bordeaux in images: The competition

Sunday, 10 February 2013

Cornado NRW is a horse that takes your breath away! Yesterday the Cornet Obolensky-son did his World Cup-debut with bravour. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

It looked like nothing could stop Gotha from jumping clear with Henrik yesterday; the mare was on fire!
Penelope pleased the home crowds with her third place.
Pius' ride Picsou du Chene impressed and ended fourth.
Richard and Cristallo ended 6th.
Denis and Abbervail van het Dingeshof in action.
The first clear came from Emanuele Gaudiano and Chigaco, but three fences fell in the jump-off.
The amazing London was clear in the first round under Gerco Schröder.
Cornado deserve two photos after his amazing performance yesterday.
Denis went all in towards the last fence in the jump-off, but unfortunately it fell.
Ears pricked; Chaman in action with Ludger.
Gerco was no doubt upset after his jump-off, where he could not get down to the first fence as London spooked - and the seconds ticked away for the Dutch rider.
Pius on the other hand was all smiles!
