Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.The final presentation in our countdown towards the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final tonight belongs to the world’s number one; Ben Maher. The British rider has had a year to remember; winning the European team gold medal for Britain and the individual silver – riding Cella. Maher took over as the world’s leading rider following his success in Herning, and in addition to the medals he won in Denmark he has big wins from Basel, Wellington, La Baule, London, Cannes, Aachen, Hickstead, Vienna, Verona and Stuttgart this year as well as being on the winning British Nations Cup team in Dublin in August.
