Thursday, 04 December 2014

Steve Guerdat. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. The second of the ten riders that we present for the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final is home hero Steve Guerdat. Steve is reigning Olympic Champion on Nino des Buissonnets, and World Cup vice-champion for two years in a row – the Swiss rider was second with Nino both in 2012 and in 2013. During 2014 Steve picked up some big wins in Doha, Falsterbo, Aachen and Münster – as well as going to the top with the Swiss team in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup in Lummen. Lately Steve has been on fire; he won the Longines FEI World Cup in Helsinki, as well as being third in the World Cup in Oslo and Stuttgart.

Steve has won the Top 10 Final before; in 2010 on home soil in Geneva.

Steve is currently rank eleven on the world ranking no. 166.
