The Stephex Masters in images - part one

Monday, 25 August 2014
Kent Farrington continued his tremendous form at Stephex Masters this weekend, and ended up winning Sunday's Grand Prix on the lovely Willow. All photos by World of Showjumping.
This was the first edition of the Stephex Masters, and thanks to Stephan Conter and his masterful crew this show had it all!
The top three riders and horses in the Grand Prix; Kent Farrigton/Willow, Lauren Hough/Ohlala and Simon Delestre/Stardust Quinhon.
The three top riders all received a STX two-horse truck; Kent got his in his own ownership, Lauren got one for two years and Simon one for a year.
Goodies for the prize giving.

Lucky Pedro de Andrade Costa who ended as best rider in the two star show - he got this Mercedes Benz CLA 180 CDI.

Course builder Uliano Vezzani did a very good job - as usual.
Ohlala and Stardust Quinhon were most interested in tasting show director Frederik De Backer's flowers.
It was very busy at the show grounds the entire weekend, with plenty of visitors!
And it was enough space for everybody - outside and inside.
 The beautiful bar outside.

Lounge area.

Golf carts brought big and small from the parking to the entrance.
And Conter's helicopter was frequently in action.
 The buzzling VIP area.
The weekend's menu offered amazing food.
With great chefs cooking it for the guests.
Massage was also offered, and we got to try it. Recommended to all show organizers!
There were several lunging rings available next to the warm-up.
The two warm-ups had one covered ring and one open.
The main ring was top prepared at all times. This show was more like a five star than a three star!
