Nicola made cupcakes! The rain just won't stop!!! It was another stormy day here in Wellington. Carly had to stay at home the whole day yesterday so I brought her up to the ring with me all bundled up in her raincoat- I can't get anywhere quickly because every person that sees her has to come play with her and tell me how adorable she is etc. I am no longer my own person, I'm just Carly's mom! I started the day with Katie's homebred mare Quality in the 1.35. She jumped really well and Katie was very happy with her. I think she will move up to the 1.40 soon and into the international ring. My Dad rode my old junior horse Flight in the masters and won (big surprise...). It is the cutest thing to watch!

After I rode the horses in FEI I had a bit of a break before the 1.40. Cylana went early and jumped double clean. She jumped great and I'm looking forward to the world cup with her. This is her last class before the nations cup in 2 weeks. I've watched the nations cup here every year of my life and I'm so excited to finally be on the home team!

Mika was double clean and Soraya jumped well also. After I did Redwhite in the 1.30 my day was done and it was all about mom!

She did her new horse I found for her in the mediums (1.35) for the first time. Indochine is so pretty. She is black with a huge neck- she really looks like a stallion that is about to do the grand prix not the amateurs! Indy was double clean and my mom couldn't have been happier.

After we finished the day my parents came with me to the gym which was really funny. My mom is naturally super fit without exercising it is so annoying! My dad pretended to exercise for a while then eventually became very preoccupied with his phone... business emergency I'm sure...!

Tomorrow is a really easy day with just Cylana in the grand prix. I go 14th out of 47. My mom gets to show in the big ring as well for the medium amateur speed and I can tell with her new horse she already wants to move up! Maybe there will be another Kessler girl in the grand prix soon? Everyone always mistakes her for my sister anyways lol!

Til tomorrow!xo
