Hi everybody,

After an early morning ride on Thursday, the Hong Kong jumpers ventured out on the cross country course to help spot for our 3 day event team. We were positioned at certain jumps and asked to let the eventing trainer, Lucinda, know how the obstacles were riding, striding etc. It was a very warm day and our HK 3 day event team were in spectacular form! Three clear rounds helped them move up to third place after cross country! Spirits were high during a Hong Kong team dinner and we decided to return to cheer them on in the showjumping!

The Hong Kong jumpers are eager to get started here in Incheon. We had a light training day on Friday and all horses are looking good. The selection of 4 riders has been decided but not yet made public yet... Just to add a little suspense!!! We have our vet inspection Saturday morning, followed by a warm up class in the afternoon. Today we did a trot up dry run to make sure all horses and riders are ready!

Afterwards we cheered on our HK 3 day eventing team! They won the team bronze! The first time Hong Kong has won a medal at the Asian Games in eventing! Here's hoping that the winning mood streak continues for us show jumpers!  Congratulations Nicole, Annie and Thomas!!!!

Best wishes

Samantha
