The best eight year olds in Leipzig

Thursday, 23 January 2014

Ayade de Septon ET HDC (Wandor van de Mispelaere x Belle d'Avril du Mazy) really showed off in the Poresta Youngster Cup in Leipzig with Kevin Staut in the saddle. The chestnut mare won the first qualification, was runner-up in the second one and went on to win the final. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

For Cento (For Pleasure x Cento) took the second place in the final after being slightly behind Ayade de Septon ET HDC in the jump-off. The gelding is ridden by Shane Breen.  Maria Gretzer's Singular LS La Silla (Chapultepec la Silla x Stakkato) once again showed his qualities ending third in the final together with his rider Marcus Ehning.  Tailormade Confidence (Cordalme x Grannus) and Sören Pedersen were the only pair that could beat Ayade de Septon ET HDC though out the Youngster Cup, winning the second qualification. The pair then ended fourth in the final.  Lord Pepsi (Lord Pezi x Santander) was fifth and eight in the two qualifications - and ended sixth in the final. Lord Pepsi is ridden by Paul Estermann.  Curt (Contendro) ended fourth in the first qualification with his rider Oliver Lazarus. In the final they had to settle for seventh place after four faults in the jump-off.  Philipp Weishaupt rode Cordess (Clinton x Heartbreaker) to a fourth place in the second qualification and the pair ended eight in the final.  Arac du Seigneur (Ogano Sitte x Rubens du ri d'Asse) was ridden by Christian Ahlmann to a ninth place in the Poresta Youngster Cup Final.  Bernfried Erdmann's Canturado (Canturo x Lord Liberty) ended tenth in the final after being placed in both qualifications. The gelding is ridden by Patrick Stühlmeyer.
