The team gold in the Arab Games in Doha to Saudi Equestrian

Saudi Arabia´s jumping team, also called Saudi Equestrian, won the team gold at the Arab Games in Doha, Qatar. All the riders from Saudi Equestrain, HRH Prince Abdullah, HH Prince Faisal, Kamal Bahamdan and Khaled Al Eid, went clear in the first round and in the second round. So did the teams from Qatar, Egypt and UAE as well so the competition progressed to a jump-off to decide who would win gold, silver and bronze. The gold went to Saudi Equestrian, silver to Egypt and the bronze medals to Qatar.

"I am incredibly proud of the guys; they gave everything, and their hard work and dedication throughout the course of this year has again paid off. Their teamwork has been exemplary and they deserve all of the success that comes their way," says Stanny van Paesschen, the team trainer of Saudi Equestrian.
