The top 12 in Saturday's biggest class at the German Masters in Stuttgart

Saturday, 16 November 2013

Ben Maher and Tripple X III (Namelus R x Cantango) won the "Preis der Firma GEZE GmbH" in Stuttgart Saturday evening. Eleven riders went on to the winning round - all except one of them were clear in the first round. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

Second place went to Carsten-Otto Nagel with Corradina (Corrado x Sandro), that showed their speedy side.  Pieter Devos made it to the winning round even though he had one time fault in the first round. And after a great second round with Dream of India Greenfield (Gem of India x Night and Day) he took home the third place.  The well jumping Cornetta (Cornet Obolensky x Anmarsch) ended fourth with Max Kühner in the saddle. Lars Nieberg almost missed this fence - the second one in the winning round - with the amazing mare Casallora (Casall x Lennon). The not so well known rider Kaya Lüthi really impressed with Pret a Tout (Hiram Cambertin x Stew Boy).  Very unlike Roger Yves Bost he didn't go "all in" in the jump-off and ended seventh with the slowest clear round - riding Nippon d'Elle (Scherif d'Elle x Narcos II). Penelope Leprevost with Nice Stephanie (Cardento x Ralme Z) was the fastest of the four faulters after having the very last fence down.  Philipp Weishaupt and Leoville (Landor x Wettruf) showed some fighting spirit.  Alberto Michan Halbinger did a very good first round with Camilo LS La Silla (Portofino x Cor de la Bryere) and ended on tenth place after four faults in the winning round.  Kevin Staut also had the very last fence in the winning round down on Cheyenne Z HDC (Chatman x Calimero).  Meredith Michaels Beerbaum didn't make it to the winning round with her fantastic 18 year old Checkmate (Contender x Pik Bube II) after a time fault in the first round. But they where still placed and ended 12th.
