The top five in the speed derby in Aachen

Sunday, 20 July 2014

Olivier Philippaerts and Carlito C (Kannan x Romeo) won the speed derby in Aachen on Saturday night, jumping clear over the track that was a mix between normal and natural fences stopping the clock on 76.60 seconds. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

Runner-up was Hans-Dieter Dreher on Quiwi Dream (Quidam De Revel x Contender), also he clear in a time of 77.82 seconds. Third was Shane Breen with Ominerale Courcelle (Kannan x Caprice D´elle II), with a very fast round – but with one down, faults were converted into time, he finished on 79.15 seconds.  Henrik von Eckermann was fourth on Toulouse 66 (Toulon x Ganymed) – clear in 80.52 seconds.  Then came Chris Sörensen on Wriomf (Tangelo Van De Zuuthoeve x Julius) – one down to put the time to 81.57 seconds.
