Theo Muff secures a Swiss win in Amsterdam

Theo Muff had a good day in Amsterdam. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.The Swiss riders are on form this weekend, not only on home soil in Zürich – but also at Jumping Amsterdam. On Saturday night, Theo Muff won the biggest four star class at the Dutch event riding the ten year old Zenita Bo (Padinus x Burggraaf) to the only double clear in the Anton Ebben Memorial Prize. Home rider Vincent Voorn was the fastest four-faulter in the jump-off on Quinlan (Quidam´s Rubin x Acrobat), while Cameron Hanley followed in third on Antello Z (Animo Ii Z x Continue) – before two more Dutch rider filled up the next spots as Jeroen Dubbeldam was fourth and his stable jockey Sjaak Sleiderink fifth.

Theo Muff was also second in the Six Bar class, only beaten by Piet Raijmakers Jr. on Van Schijndel´s Eclips (Winningmood Van De Arenberg x Fantastique). The 1.45 accumulator class went to Britain’s Guy Williams on Casper de Muze (Triomphe de Muze x Corsaire de Vauban) who beat Ireland’s Bertram Allen on Wild Thing L (Montreux x Lux) by over a second. In third followed Dutch rider Leopold van Asten on the Luidam-daughter VDL Groep Amelie.
