Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Nicola Philippaerts took a brilliant home win in the 4* Grand Prix in Lummen Sunday afternoon aboard Cortez (Quick Star x Quito de Baussy). The first round counted 50 starts, and top 15 got to ride a second round. A jump-off was also scheduled, but as Nicola was the only rider without penalties after two rounds the winner was already decided. Bernardo Alves and Cloud Nine II (Lando x Calido) came close to giving the spectators a jump-off though, but with one time penalty in round two they ended second ahead of Neriske Prinsloo and Bill Clinton (Clinton x Wunderbar) at two penalties.

The 4* Grand Prix in Baku Saturday evening went to Patrick Mc Entee and Zidane D (Heartbreaker x Calato) with Alexandra Lusina in second and Mazier Jamshid Khani in third.

In Linz Mario Stevens and Little Pezi (Lord Pezi x Aldatus) were victorious after a fast jump-off. The first round in Linz gave a lot of challenge and only four riders went on to the jump-off while seven riders retired and four were eliminated. In the jump-off Mario was accompanied by Louise Saywell and Winner, Julia Keyser and Sterrehof’s Ushi (Vigo d’Arsouilles x Goethe) and Claudia Gisler and Touchable (Navarone x Goodwill) who were all clear in the jump-off as well.

Eric van der Vleuten won in Redefin with Wan Architect. Photo by Karl-Heinz Frieler.The 3* Opel Grand Prix in Magna Racino was won by Keith Shore and Mystic Hurricane (Tornado x magic Motion) representing Great Britain. Zila Zdenek and Jana Wargers followed as number two and three.

In Redefin Eric van der Vleuten was in top form taking the 2* win aboard Wan Architect. Second place went to Michael Kölz and FST Dipylon (Dinglinger x Lavall 5) while Rolf-Göran Bengtsson was third with Clarimo (Clearway x Caletto).

Pippa Allen won the 2* Grand Prix in Eschweiler riding Cupido Z (Caridor x Lord Z). Frederik Knorren was second while Michel Hendrix secured third place.

In Drammen it was a home win as Iselin Håhjem Gjendemsjø and Sauron M-L (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Paladin des Ifs) won the 2* Grand Prix ahead of Nayel Nassar and Raging Bull Vangelis (Nonstop x Feinschnitt I van de Richter) with Jillian Terceira and Bernadien van Westuur (Toulon x Vibramino) in third.

In Mannheim the Grand Prix is set for Tuesday, but Sunday the riders got to battle in the Maimarkt-Championat von Mannheim, a 1.55 class It was the lovely stallion Vivant(Fuergo Du Prelet x Landino) who took home the win under Cassio Rivetti after a sixteen-horse jump-off. Beat Mändli was second aboard Croesus (Casall x Coronado) and The Dutch Champions Gert-Jan Bruggink and Primeval Dejavu Heartbreaker x Ramiro) kept impressing with more good rounds. Then followed Hansi Dreher, Christian Ahlmann, Alexandra Fricker and Armin Schäfer jr as the double clear riders.
