A lightning fast jump-off from France's Julien Epaillard secured him the win in Saturday's biggest class in Lanaken aboard the Casall-son Cristallo A LM. In usual Epaillard-style, the French rider went full speed around the shortened jump-off track and with an incredible turn to the penultimate combination he set the time at 40.92 seconds. Nobody could do anything about Julien, but closest came Dutch rider Frank Schuttert on Winchester HS (Numero Uno x Nimmerdor) who was almost two seconds behind on the clock. In third followed Oliver Lazarus on Curt (Contendro I x Quinto).
In Arezzo, Sweden's Peder Fredricson won the 1.50 class riding H&M Sibon (Sibon W x Baloubet du Rouet). With clear round, and a time of 29.56 seconds Peder left Dutch rider Jody van Gerven behind him in second at the time of 30.40 on Acord (Andiamo Z x Acord II). Then followed Argentina's José Marie Larocca on GDE Matrix (Cardento 933 x Maximus 620) in third – a horse previously ridden successfully by Peder's wife Lisen.
