Victory for Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen in the two star Grand Prix in Oslo

Saturday, 12 October 2013

Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen. The soon-to-be 17 year old Norwegian talent Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen won the two star Grand Prix in Oslo on Saturday. Riding Zazou (Furore x Zuidhorn) Johan had one of only two double clears in the class, beating runner-up Therese Henriksen – also she from the host country – with more than two seconds. Third went to Sanne Sofie Hansen – ensuring that it was only Norwegians on the podium.

“My goal this year was to win a two star Grand Prix, and to reach that on home soil was very special. It was great fun,” Johan smiled after his win. "Zazou has a ground covering gallop which worked to my advantage today,” Johan explained about his winning jump-off.
