Vivant and Katharina Offel double clear as Ukraine wins in Poland

Friday, 10 June 2011

Vivant - here with Chris Chugg at the WEG. Photo by Jenny AbrahamssomThe wonderful stallion Vivant (Fuego du Prelet x Landino) which was recently sold from Australia's Chris Chugg to millionaire Aleksander Onishchenko, represented the Ukrainian team in the Nations Cup at the CSIO3*in Sopot Poland today. The stallion was double clear together with Katharina Offel who rides several of Onishchenko's horses.

The Ukrainian team has a great string of horses this season after Onishchenko's "shopping" the last months, and their team won the Nations Cup on a total of eight penalties after two rounds. Also Cassio Rivetti and Verdi (Andiamo x Libero H) were double clear.

France followed on second place on a total of 12 faults with Sweden on third place on 16 penalties.
