Von Eckermann victorious in Paderborn

Saturday, 10 September 2011

Henrik and L.B.Paola won the 1.50 class in Paderborn Saturday - here earlier this year. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.Click here for full results from the CSI3* show in Paderborn, Germany.

Henrik von Eckermann continued his fabulous run of form when he won the biggest class in Paderborn today. The Championat der Janz IT AG – a 1.50 class – had 52 riders lining up to compete for the win, but none of them could do anything about Ludger Beerbaum’s Swedish stable jockey.

A double clear and a time that was 0.46 seconds faster than that off Henrik’s colleague Marco Kutscher was enough to take home the first prize together with L.B.Paola (Polydor x Frühlingsball). Edwina Alexander was third on her new ride Vleut (Quickstar x Cantus) – previously ridden successfully by Maikel van der Vleuten.
