Weishaupt wins in Verona

Philipp Weishaupt won the 1.50 class in Verona today on Akteur 119. Philipp was double clear and only fractions faster than his colleague Henrik Von Eckermann on Allerdings in the jump-off – a horse usually seen with Marco Kutscher. Just behind Henrik in third were Luciana Diniz and Winningmood.

"It's great to win as this is this horse's first win at a five star and I love Verona. It is hard to follow another great show like Lyon, but Verona has no trouble doing so.  As for my round at this level, you have to take risks and on this occasion it paid off," Weishaupt said after his win.

It was an Italian hat trick in the 1.50 speed class. Lucia Vizzini made the crowds happy when she won on Lismeen Lancer ahead of Juan Carlos Garcia on Paulin and Natale Chiaudani on SNAI Corradio – O.H.
