Who’s climbing on the Longines Ranking?

Wednesday, 05 June 2013

Daniel Deusser is moving upwards on the Longines Ranking! Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson. Looking outside the Top 10 on this month’s Longines Ranking, there are plenty of riders doing some impressive climbing. Inside the top forty, Roger-Yves Bost and Hans Dieter Dreher are getting dangerously close to the Top10 – with Bosty climbing from rank 16 to 12, and Hansi from 18 to 14. Leading GCT rider Laura Kraut also jumps up from rank 23 to 16, making her the third most successful lady rider in the world. Daniel Deusser also makes an impressive climb; going from rank 44 to 27! Katharina Offel is also moving upwards; going from 39 to 30, while Janika Sprunger goes from 45 to 35. French veteran Michel Robert has climbed up to rank 38 from last month’s 49 and Italy’s Juan Carlos Garcia has gone from rank 52 to 39.

Between rank 40 and 100, Cian O’Connor is climbing – going from rank 56 to 47. Nicola Philippaerts (70 to 57), Luca Maria Moneta (77 to 60), Marc Bettinger (77 to 65), Carsten-Otto Nagel (93 to 67), Martin Fuchs (87 to 74), David Will (101 to 80), Kristaps Neretnieks (100 to 81) and Natalia Simonia (111 to 86) are all also jumping upwards on the ranking.
