With the latest Longines Ranking out, it's time to take a look at which riders is climbing it. Germany's Christian Ahlmann is getting closer and closer to the Top 10, going from rank 19 to 15 following another great Grand Prix win in August. Canada's Eric Lamaze is now within the top twenty in the world as he goes from rank 23 to rank 19. Outside the top twenty, there are quite a few riders making some good climbs within the world's 100 best riders.
One of them is Henrik von Eckermann who goes from rank 35 to rank 29, another one is his previous colleague Marco Kutscher that goes from rank 38 to 33. Brazil's Rodrigo Pessoa takes a big climb from rank 46 to 36, and Canada's Tiffany Foster from rank 45 to 37. Darragh Kenny's super results lately take him from rank 50 to 42 this month, while Lauren Hough climbs from rank 49 to 44. Holland's Marc Houtzager jumps from rank 56 to 48, while American rider Laura Kraut goes from rank 59 to 50.
Great Britain's Joe Clee is moving upwards from rank 61 to 52, and Ireland's Shane Sweetnam from rank 70 to 65. Wout-Jan van der Schans goes up from rank 77 to 68, Katie Dinan from 82 to 71, Leopold van Asten from 86 to 76, Daniel Bluman from 95 to 83, Quentin Judge from 99 to 85 and Kristaps Neretnieks from 96 to 87.
Among those who enter the top 100 this month are; Jessica Springsteen (125 to 81), Timothee Anciaume (112 to 88), Leon Thijssen (132 to 88), Natalia Simonia (108 to 91) and Jerome Hurel (104 to 94).
