Who’s climbing the Longines (Rolex) Ranking?

The Swiss riders are on top form and several of them have made big climbs on this month ranking. Photo by Jenny Abrahamsson.This month there are few changes among the top 50 riders where Cian O'Connor has made the biggest climb going from rank 50 to rank 43. Paul Estermann has made a huge climb outside top 50 though as he has climbed 19 places and is currently number nr 61. Another Swiss rider - Clarissa Crotta - has climbed 13 places and with that she has entered the top 100, currently ranked as number 90. Alexandra Fricker went from place 150 to 114.

 

The Dutch riders have proved their good form as well with Gert-Jan Bruggink climbing 13 places and is now ranked as numer 106 in the world.  The Amsterdam Grand Prix winner Hendrik-Jan Schuttert is number 116 after being  127 last month.

Further down the list Felix Hassmann climbed 20 places from 144 to 124, French rider Michel Hecart went from 151 to rank 128, and Saer Coulter,who trains with  Marcus Beerbaum, went up 20 places and is now on rank 155. Tim Gredley climbed 16 places to 157, Patrick Stühlmeyer 15 places to rank 159 and Amy Graham 27 places to rank 163.

Ramzy Hamad Al Duhami made a huge climb from rank 229 to 167, as well as Bassem Hassan Mohammed that climbed 70 places to rank 194. But the biggest climb among top 200 was probably made by the German rider Jan Wernke that climb 74 places and is currently number 186! Another big climb was made by the Turkish rider Omer Karaevli going from place 217 to 175.
