Italy's Natale Chiaudani and Germany's Christian Ahlmann won the CSI3* classes in Neumünster on Friday. Chiaudani ended on top in the 1.45 speed class, riding Fixdesign Milos du Plain – beating home rider Lars Nieberg and Galippo 5 (Giorgio x For Pleasure) with 0.42 seconds. Third was another German rider; Tobias Meyer on Quidam's Queen (Quidam's Rubin x Pilox).
In the 1.50 speed class Christian Ahlmann was victorious aboard Cocktail 39 (Calato x Exorbitant xx). Almost half of the field of the little over fifty riders in the class produced clear rounds, so it took a fast combination to win – and always competitive against the clock, Ahlmann did not disappoint stealing the win with a time of 51.87 seconds. Philipp Weishaupt secured double German on top with his runner-up spot on Souvenir (Stakkato x Lemon xx) in a time of 52.59 seconds. In third followed Denis Lynch on his faithful partner Lantinus (Landkönig x Argentinus).
