WoSJ Exclusive; Images from the visit at Stal de Muze

Wednesday, 20 November 2013

Joris de Brabander was one of the first to start with embryo transfer, and he didn't hesitate to breed with clones either - this beauty is by the clone of the legendary Gem Twist. All photos by Jenny Abrahamsson.

In this group three of the youngsters are by Gem Twist's clone - the little black one, the big brown one at the end of group and the one on the far left. Some of the surogat mares watching curiously. The grand daughter of Peter Wylde's successful horse Fine Cera.  There are several huge fields around the stable that the horses can enjoy. Some of the surrogat mares enjoying their food.  It is something special with the horses at Stoeterij de Muze - all of them are so relaxed and have a fantastic kindness in their eyes. Just like this two and a half year old stallion. Malin Baryard-Johnsson's former superstar Butterfly Flip enjoys her days in the field. He moves like a star, and he acts like a star! This two and a half year old stallion is out of the same mother as Hickstead - and is a real eye catcher. The one year old mares come running when Joris is calling. This beauty is a one year old by Vigo D'Arsouilles out of an embryo from Butterfly Flip. Here she is! Jomara - Hickstead's mum.  Two future superstars? The chestnut is by Vigo D'Arsouilles out of Butterfly Flip and the grey one is by Clarissimo Z out of Ratina Z's clone.
