WoSJ Exclusive; My dream top four final – Henrik von Eckermann

Friday, 29 August 2014

In the week ahead of the kick-off for the showjumping at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, WoSJ asks some of the world's best showjumpers: If you end up in the top four final, which three horses do you dream of riding. Here's what Henrik von Eckermann answered.

"My first choice would be my boss Ludger Beerbaum's Chiara. I see her every day at home, so I have a certain overview of how she is to ride. I never rode her, but naturally I think Chiara would suit my riding pretty well. If both Ludger and I ended in a final, he would certainly have an advantage considering he rode my horse Gotha FRH before me.

Secondly I would chose Scott Brash's Hello Sanctos, he looks like a really nice horse to ride.

The third horse I would pick is my team mate Rolf-Göran Bengtsson's Casall Ask. I think Casall would suit me well. He is simply a fantastic horse, that looks very rideable and also has lots of experience – and I have seen him compete a lot."
