WoSJ Exclusive; My dream top four final – Sergio Alvarez Moya

Thursday, 28 August 2014

In the week ahead of the kick-off for the showjumping at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, WoSJ asks some of the world's best showjumpers: If you end up in the top four final, which three horses do you dream of riding. Here's what Sergio Alvarez Moya answered.

"The first horse I would pick is Gerco Schröder's Glock's London. It is a horse I really like, and enjoy watching in the ring. London also seems like a sensitive horse, and I like those types. It would be a great experience to get to feel how London is to ride.

The second one – well there are so many – but I think I would chose Daniel Deusser's Cornet D'Amour. That is also a fantastic horse that it would be great to sit on once.

Thirdly I would chose Steve Guerdat's Nino des Buissonnets, it would be fun to get to ride a horse of that calibre.

And with these horses in the final, I would be happy to also have top jockeys with a lot of feeling for my own horse Carlo 273 – which is equally important for me!"
