Dutch rider Gerco Schröder breaks the German domination in third with one penalty and Katie McVean from New Zealand is fourth on four penalties. Today’s winner Eric Lamaze is fifth on six penalties. Ten penalties separate the top and McLain Ward who is ranked ten.

"I am happy to be in the lead together with Christian; it's the first time in my life. Yesterday I took a lot of risks in the speed-competition, so I didn't know what he would be like today. I am very pleased with my horse," Marco Kutscher said about his lead.

The best woman in the standings is Katie McVean from New Zealand on rank four; "I'm very excited, and very happy with my horse," she sai after today's competition.
