On 2 March, 32 carefully selected auction horses are moved to their box stalls at the Elmshorn stable. These promising 4- to 6-year-old prospects particular impressed the selection panel traveling all over Germany on the lookout for exceptional talents.

Our auction team strives to discover interesting high-quality sport horses with a clean bill of health according to your requirements.

“I think we are able to provide our customers with a wide and high-quality range with this year’s selection”, says auction manager Peter Glisic, “as our range includes all sorts of horses from promising youngster to experienced competition horse.”

The selection definitely prioritizes show jumpers but also comprises some eventers, show hunters and horses suited for equitation classes.

“We are happy that we have discovered the odd diamond in the rough suited for more ambitious challenges for our customers this year as well,” says Peter Glisic and he also points out that “fortunately also solidly schooled horses for newcomers on the showing scene as well as for ambitious amateur riders will be put to auction on 29 March at the Fritz-Thiedemann-hall.”

All horses have been vet checked several times and you are always welcome to any information regarding the horses’ health status. Among others, three offspring by Holsteiner Verband role model Casall Ask have been selected for the auction catalogue.

Happy and content customers with successful horses –this is our aim, ambition, and motivation. Along with Jos Lansink, Theo Molenaers secured a mare of extra quality at the 2013 spring auction, Callas by Casall – Coriano. She has already caused quite a stir at her first horse shows in Belgium.

Another horse standing for a more than successful purchase at the Holsteiner spring auction is Clearline, a Clearway-Coriano mare discovered by Dieter Wenning in 2013. With 18 wins in young show jumper classes at L and M level under her belt, she has been the 2013/14 showing season’s most successful Holsteiner at elementary and medium level.

A highly promising prospect at the stable of Christian Hess is now 8-year-old Carl Louis by Cassini II. Winner of the Holsteiner Masters Future Prize in 2013, he also won the youngster tour final at the Wiener Neustadt CSI last year.

These are only some few examples of horses discovered at Elmshorn and we are certain we will have a promising prospect for you as well this year.
