The website is now live for the Billy Stud Online Auction
There will be two official viewing days at the Billy Stud’s base in Surrey on Sunday the 22nd & Monday the 23rd of October. There is still time to arrange a viewing before these dates if you wish to and there are now 7 days left to bid.
The Billy Stud is a joint venture between William Funnell and Donal Barnwell with is now in its 23rd year. The stud originally used top class Irish bloodlines combining them with successful continental stallions for their foundation mares. From this the stud now have their own proven bloodlines that have gone on to produce horses that have successfully competed at the European Championships, World Championships and the Olympic Games.
Available to buy in the auction are 22 selected 3 & 4 year olds out of the stud’s proven dam lines and by world class showjumping sires.
All horses have had a five stage vetting along with x-rays last week, all of which can be seen on the auction site.

Viewing days
The viewings will commence at 9:00 on both Sunday & Monday and end at approx. 16:00.
The 3 year olds will be individually loose jumped in the indoor arena first and followed on by the 4 year olds who will all be seen under saddle. All horses will be seen within their age group in the order that appears online.

Closing dates and times
The sale of the 3 year olds is scheduled to end on the 23rd of October at 20:00 with each horse having a staggered ending time 5 minutes apart (First horse ending at 20:00, second horse ending at 20:05 and so on).
The sale of the 4 year olds will run the same as above, ending on the 24th of October.
