Maybe you could be the owner of the next Halifax Van Het Kluizebos?

The opportunity to buy a made horse jumping 1.60 tracks is beyond the purse strings of most of us, but the Belgian Warmblood Foal Auction has rapidly become the place to source your next superstar.  Leading the world of jumping the BWFA graduates such as Halifax Van Het Kluizebos who was purchased for a mere 15.500€ in 2007 and this year alone has won more than 200.000€. He leads the World Breeding Federation for Sports Horses.

Dirk Zagers, jumping horse specialist auctioneer said about this year’s collection from the BWFA.  “Wow what a collection we have this year.  Possibly the best I have ever seen.  Every foal we selected has come from exceptional breeding with Grand Prix 1.60 international jumpers on both sides.  The auction is always very nice on the showground with a super atmosphere.  I am thrilled that these foal auctions have built sound foundations of constantly producing horses that go on to be super stars.  It is essential when selling foals that the references and by that, I mean the genealogy of each foal is extraordinary.  It means buyers can with confidence purchase any of the foals that pass through our auctions and know that the foal has hereditary jumping ability.

This year will set a precedent for us as we now have so many buyers from overseas we will broadcast live the auction with “clipmyhorse.tv”.

For people wanting to purchase via “telephone bidding” we recommend pre-registration and notification of the foals you are interested in.  We will call you at the time the foal enters the sales ring and you will have a dedicated assistance from our team.   We have actually doubled our telephone sales team to ensure our buyers from United states, South Africa, Brazil and the rest of the world are serviced.

The bidding starts 5 August at 21.00H and we try to give an estimated time that each foal will enter the arena to our overseas interest due to the time differences.  For our potential purchasers at the auction; they will be able to smell and taste the atmosphere as each potential star enters the sales ring.”
