This six year old mare has all the components of an exceptional Grand Prix horse and she’s a great opportunity for any professional rider.

Extra is an athletic horse with a powerful take-off, exceptional elasticity and a stunning jump. Her technique is faultless, the sky’s the limit as far as scope is concerned and she has lightning-fast reactions. This Holstein mare also has a beautiful temperament, she’s unfailingly willing and she’s a beautiful ride.

Extra has inherited all the exceptional qualities of her international show jumping ancestors and has top performance blood in her veins.

Her sire Clarimo is a top international stallion competing at world class level in 1.60m classes with Rolf Göran Bentgsson. Clarimo’s pedigree mix includes the top performance genes of Capitol I and Caletto II, as well as those of the mares Wisma and Wodka, two very successful international show jumpers who have produced many outstanding sport horses during their breeding career. The fact that Wodka is an excellent sport horse producer is proven by her successful offspring Chika’s Way (Pius Schwizer), Carassina (Thomas Kleis) and her licensed sons Clearway, Conway I and II and Arturo. Clarimo’s dam Wisma is famous for her two licensed sons Cassini I and II. Clarimo’s offspring are already big names on the international show circuit and include Chardonnay (Max Kühner), Cynar VA (Jessica Springsteen) and Call me Spock (Francesca Ciriesi).

Her dam Udine I, sired by Lerano, also produced successful jumping horses. Lerano was sired by the outstanding breeding stallion Lord, one of the most successful of all Ladykiller xx stallions alongside Landgraf I in the Holstein breeding scene – and a horse that competed successfully at the highest level of show jumping with Samantha Lam. He has an impressive number of competition horses among his offspring. Calido I, one of the world’s best-ever stallions, also contributes valuable genetic material. His pedigree boasts Cor de la Bryère A.N., Cottage Son xx and Ramzes AA three times, and Anblick xx twice.

Extra proved what a special mare she is this year by qualifying again for the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf and performing exceptionally well at the Holstein Regional Championship for six year old jumping horses. With her female rider she has won and been placed in young horse classes up to 1.30m, receiving top marks for her sheer scope. Extra has 30 placings registered with the German Equestrian Federation and is ready for international youngster tours.
