Ashford Farm has sold their 14-year-old stallion Zerlin M (Caspar x Concorde) to Home Farm Stallions, a stud based in Hartfield, UK.

“Zerlin has been an incredible horse for our team, first with Marlon Zanotelli and then with Michael Hughes,” Enda Carroll tells World of Showjumping. “He has been a winner through and through, so it has been a difficult decision to make but I believe it is the right one. At Home Farm Stallions, Zerlin gets the chance to front the stud and their breeding program. They have other exciting stallions too, such as Uncas S, Warriors Glory, Ikannan, Crossbar Melloni and Stacopi. Spencer Golding, the owner of the stud, has big visions for the future and Sean Cubitt and his wife Lisa will be key players in making it successful," Carroll adds.

Zerlin M had a successful career with Jos Lansink in the saddle, before Zanotelli took over the reins in 2015. The pair went on to win five-star classes in Den Bosch and Antwerp, as well as recording numerous podium finishes together. With Hughes in the saddle, Zerlin M took victories in Nörten-Hardenberg, Bonheiden, Knokke as well as Oliva during their two years together.
