Peder Fredricson and his wife Lisen Bratt Fredricson were the big winners at Wednesday night’s Swedish Riders’ Gala. As Peder had to stay at home due to pneumonia, Lisen was present at the Gala to receive the awards.

Peder won the ‘Achievement of the Year’-award for his individual silver medal at the Olympic Games in Rio with H&M All In (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Fortune), and in addition H&M All In was crowned ‘Horse of the Year’ after one top result after the other during 2016. Peder was also awarded as the rider with the most ranking points during 2016, while his 9-year-old gelding H&M Carat Desire (Carinjo x Latus II) got the honourable ‘Future Star’-award.

The Fredricsons were involved in another award as well as Tina Petersson Lind was named ‘Breeder of the Year’. Petersson Lind has bred Fibonacci, a horse produced at Peder and Lisen’s Grevlunda Stables before it was sold and brought to top level by Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum.
