Jeroen Dubbeldam, brothers Wim and Ben Schröder and Mario Everse organized another successful edition of the Jumping Talent Sale in Amsterdam last night. Auctioneer Frederik De Backer sold the young talented horses on average for 85.000 euro and the six-year-old mare Fantasy BB turned out to be the top-seller for 380.000 euro.

USA’s Alan Waldman and Jonathan and Christine McCrea’s Windsor Show Stables purchased Fantasy BB (Cardento x Indorado). “We really think this is a horse for the future,” Waldman states after the purchase of the explosive jumper. “I have been following this horse for a year now and it is the kind of horse that is just never for sale. But now we had the opportunity and we really love it, so we decided to buy it.”

The plan is that either Jonathan or Christine McCrea will ride the now six-year-old mare in the future, but now Alan Waldman’s riders James Paterson-Robinson or Shawn Cassady will take over the reins of Fantasy BB. “We will take her to Mijas in Spain to jump the tour the coming weeks. We really have high expectations of this one for the future!”

Besides Fantasy BB being sold for 380.000 euro, five other young talents went for over 100.000 euro. Russia’s Maria Madenova purchased the extremely talented Cassedy H (Cassini Boy Junior x Argentinus) for 160.000 euro, while Georgia (Ustinov x Bachus) got sold for 120.000 euro. Freedom (Namelus R x Mermus R) and Esquilia (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Adlantus As) both went for 110.000 euro and 100.000 euro was paid for Flower (Stakkato x Calypso II).
