After a fantastic year, Christian Ahlmann has taken over the spot as world no. one on the Longines Ranking. The German rider has recorded several big wins this year, including the recent victory in the CSI5* Grand Prix of Dinard as well as the CSI5* Grand Prix of Treffen. With his 3204 points, Ahlmann has now passed former ranking leader Simon Delestre (FRA) who sits second this month with 3140 points. New as rank three is Delestre’s compatriot Penelope Leprevost on 2909 points.

Rank four is Kent Farrington (USA), up one spot from last month while his compatriot McLain Ward is down two spots to rank five. Scott Brash (GBR) remains as rank six, Daniel Deusser (GER) is up on spot to rank seven and Kevin Staut (FRA) is down one spot to rank eight.

Marcus Ehning (GER) and Eric Lamaze (CAN) jump into the top ten as rank nine and ten, pushing Gregory Wathelet (BEL) and Bertram Allen (IRL) out.
