After sustaining a minor injury in Rotterdam earlier this summer, Codex One will not be made available for selection for the European Championships in August. The stallion's owner Marions Jauß and his rider Christian Ahlmann has reached this conclusion together, with Codex One's health in mind.

On his website, Ahlmann states that Codex One is well on his way back following the injury - but as the time is short until the championships begin they can not make sure that the horse gets the optimal preparations. They have thus rather chosen to take their time to bring him slowly back into competition.

Ahlmann is nevertheless on the German longlist for the Europeans with two other horses; Taloubet Z and Epleaser van't Heike.
