Very sadly, Marc Houtzager has announced that his faithful partner Sterrehof's Uppity (Guidam x Epilot) has passed away at the age of 16.

On their Facebook page, Stal Houtzager-Kayser states: "Yesterday we had to say suddenly goodbye to our great horse Sterrehof's Uppity. For 7 years Uppity has won a lot on toplevel. He was always fighting for what he was worth of and meant so much for us and Stoeterij Sterrehof. Rest in peace our friend."

Together, Houtzager and Sterrehof's Uppity had lots of success. They collected big victories all over the world, such as in Den Bosch, Paris, London, Hong Kong, St. Moritz, Gothenburg, Hamburg and Treffen – to mention some. In 2013, the pair competed at the World Cup Final in Gothenburg and also won the CSI3* Grand Prix of Ommen.

Our thoughs go out to the team at Stal Houtzager-Kayser and Stoeterij Sterrehof.
