The 14-year-old stallion Firth of Lorne (For Pleasure x Stakkato) is back in Germany, and will in the future be seen under Marcus Ehning.
Firth of Lorne has previously been seen with Katrin Eckermann and Franz-Josef Dahlmann in the saddle, before he was sold at the end of 2015 and the American rider Leah De Martini took over the reins. Eckermann had a lot of success with the chestnut stallion, jumping to victory in the 2014 Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix in Hamburg as well as to the top of the podium in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup in Falsterbo that same year.
“Firth of Lorne has been here for about two weeks now and I have jumped him a couple of times. He feels good and we will soon go to a smaller show with him,” Ehning says to World of Showjumping.
